New Absence Planner Launched

"We love it! It's so much clearer and very easy to use", Pamela Finbow, HR Director, MacDonald & Company.

This new capability was the final stage in the replacing of all technological components used in Youmanage Version 2, following the release of version 3 in June this year.

The work was undertaken by our very talented Graduate Developer, Jason Graham, a self-professed perfectionist and both the aesthetic design and functional capability is testament to his attention to detail!

Rather than displaying absence information to users as a giant 'pop-up', the new version is an integral part of the Youmanage platform. Whilst retaining the usefulness of the old Time Planner, the new version incorporates integration with absence workflow processes, where permissible users have direct access to drill into absence records and can update, complete, or delete any pre-defined absence process.

"It is great to see that we’re able to pick what absence types will be visible by individual users." Ildiko (Dee) Foote, HR. Manager, Electric Word plc.

Gillian McGuire, Head of Product Development at Youmanage commented, "This is a significant achievement in the final completion of upgrading the entire Youmanage platform, allowing us now to develop further and future capability more readily and easily, much of which is being provided in response to client demand."

The new trial version is available.
